FAQs

Visiting a new church can come with a lot of questions. Here are some of the most common ones below to help you feel confident and prepared before you arrive.

What should I wear?

Come as you are! There's no dress code at Edifying Church. Whether you show up in your Sunday best or casual clothes, you are more than welcome.

How long is the service?

Our services typically run between 60 to 90 minutes, including worship, announcements, and the message.

Is there something for my kids?

Absolutely! We have a dedicated Kids Ministry where your little ones will be safe, cared for, and having a great time while you enjoy the service.

Do I need to bring a Bible?

Not at all. Scripture is displayed during the service so you can follow along easily. But if you have one, feel free to bring it!

What can I expect during the service?

Expect a warm welcome, heartfelt worship, and a Bible-based message that speaks to real life. We want every service to be an encounter with God.

Bishop E. James Logan

Bishop E. James Logan has faithfully served in ministry alongside his wife, Pastor Deborah Logan, for over 30 years. In 1997, they were installed as Senior Pastors of Christian Faith Fellowship Church Zion (CFFC Zion), where they have remained committed to cultivating strong, faith-centered leadership. Today, they continue this legacy as Edifying Church with their son and daughter, Cameron and Llexis, who are actively serving and helping to shape the next generation of the church.

Throughout the years, Bishop Logan has had the distinct privilege of ministering in over ten countries, sharing the Gospel and strengthening church communities around the world. He presently serves as an apostolic leader, providing spiritual oversight, leadership, and guidance to Edifying Church as well as numerous other ministries across the United States.
